As part of the orientation activities to help first-year students adapt to university life, an orientation program will be held for the newly enrolled first-year students on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 12:30 PM in Room Z13.

1. Introduction to the Faculty and Department, and general information about operations
2. Information about Afyon Kocatepe University Education-Training and Examination Regulations, Higher Education Institutions Student Disciplinary Regulations, related guidelines, and other relevant regulations
3. Explanation of the principles and practices of these regulations
4. Information on Academic Advising Services
5. Information on the grading and success system
6. Introduction to Student Exchange Programs (Erasmus, Farabi, Mevlana, etc.)
7. Information on Double Major/Minor/Transfer Requirements
8. Information on exemption exams
9. Introduction to the Student Information System and Mobile Application
10. Guidance on how to obtain textbooks for essential courses for newly enrolled students
11. Information on how to access the internet in campus areas and educational buildings
12. Information on the Distance Education Learning Management System, distance education courses, and exams
13. Introduction to student clubs and organizations
14. Information on TEKNOFEST activities (with a workshop introduction for interested students)
