A seminar titled “Introduction of the Probation System” was held at our faculty on April 24, 2025, in collaboration between our department and the Bolvadin Directorate of Probation.
The event took place at the Sabri Bektöre Conference Hall and was attended by our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Gökhan Demirtaş, Dean of Bolvadin Faculty of Applied Sciences and Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Fişne, Director of Afyon Probation Office, Mahmut Kıran, and Director of Dinar Probation Office, Hakan Savaş, as well as academic staff and students.
As part of the program, Fatma Akar, Deputy Director of Bolvadin Probation Office, and Veysel Atay, a psychologist working at the same institution, delivered presentations. Following an overview of the legal framework and practical implementation of the probation system, the seminar concluded with a Q&A session.
