Our department and the Management and Politics Club will host a seminar titled “The International Law Dimension of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza” on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
The seminar will feature Dr. Şahin Eray Kırdım, a faculty member of the Department of International Relations at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Political Science, as the speaker. In his presentation, Dr. Kırdım will evaluate the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza from an international law perspective and discuss the responsibilities of states, international organizations, and civil society actors.
The event will also address current topics such as the legal status of humanitarian aid delivered by sea, the relationship between blockades and international humanitarian law, and other related issues. The seminar aims to provide participants with in-depth knowledge about one of today’s most pressing humanitarian issues—humanitarian aid to Gaza—from an international law perspective.
All academic staff and students are invited to attend the seminar on October 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Sabri Bektöre Conference Hall of our faculty.
